JOSEPH OPPER

JOSEPH OPPER was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, March 18, 1948 and graduated from Tufts University in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He graduated from Hofstra University School of Law in 1975. From 1985 to 1996 Mr. Opper was a member of the Antitrust Bureau of the New York State Department of Law and served as the Acting Bureau Chief from 1994-96. Immediately, prior to joining the GBGF in 2000, he was employed by Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes & Lerach LLP, where he specialized in Antitrust and Human Rights litigation. From 1975-85 Mr. Opper practiced law at the Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn, New York.

Mr. Opper is a member of the New York Bar, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court.
